BABEL Review

Applause and standing ovation for all the performances of all the actors involved in this powerful movie!
Riveting screenplay and directing by the people who brought us great films such as ‘21 grams’ and ‘Amorres Perros’.

This film is a very passionate project!

One thing that didn’t work for me was that when I watched this movie,..
at times it felt like I was watching just a slightly better version of ‘Lost in Translation’.
but Babel successfully delivers important current issues and problems of life in the world today.

Seriously, I thought this movie was the biggest waste of time ever. 1 out of 5 stars.

I concur Senatorquijano. Complete waste of time. It was slower than The Good Shepard! I think THE ENTIRE point of the movie was to say “Not every American that get’s shot in a foreign country is shot by a terrorist…sometimes their little kids playing with a gun.” I would never watch this movie again. Ever.

Babel was extremely well done. Each of the individual stories kept me intrigued, though the way they were all connected was questionable. The performance of Rinko Kikuchi still burns in my mind. I agree with your rating.

    Thank you, Katie.
I agree with your review too.
Each one of those actors did an amazing performance. The time-length could’ve been made shorter though.
