SHREK THE THIRD Review
This is by far the funniest of all the ‘Shrek’ fanchise movies.
It can’t compete with the first Shrek movie which was still the most awesome… but as far as laughing out loud til your guts hurt goes, the movie Shrek the Third is the champ.
You’ve gotta see this movie.. trust me, It’s got jokes to spare even for the next century.. I know I’m exaggerating..
but I kid you not, Shrek The Third will be worth the money.
The search for the next King of Far, Far Away has never been this funny.
The whole cast return and Puss in Boots cracks me up the most!

While Shrek will always stand out as the anti-fairy tale movie that always gets a laugh no matter how old you are, the third in the series, I believe, is the weakest out of the 3.
Now, before everyone who disagree’s with me comes out with pitch forks and crossbows, just hear me out.
Sequels, I always expect to be better than the previous, and when in a trilogy I always want the third to be the best, but sadly it never is the case (return of the jedi:weak, Matrix Trilogy (revolutions); could’ve been better). No exception with Shrek the third. The problem is simple, it took awhile to see where this movie is weak, and it’s the characters. I liked Shrek 2 because it had new characters, like puss in boots, prince charming, fiona’s parents, etc… in 3, there is only one new outstanding character and the old characters (to me) are nothing new and refreshing, hence it felt old as well as the jokes that go along with the characters.
While the lack of fresh faces does not keep the movie fresh, it still keeps its charm with the pokes at modern humor set in fairy tale times. And that right there, will keep old fans of Shrek right at home. But if your expecting a new fresh adventure Shrek the Third is not groundbreaking in the trilogy.
good analysis, bro
but somehow I couldn’t stop laughing as I watched this movie.
Maybe I’m just easily entertained.
