I’ve been waiting so long for the sequel to X-Files the movie to be made. David Duchovny reportedly will receive the script anytime soon. The movie will be directed by the genius behind the TV show, Chris Carter. And my crush when I was a kid, Gillian Anderson will return as Scully.

Filming will probably begin in November in hopes that it could be released in theaters by summer of 2008

“Chris has written it with Frank Spotnitz, and Chris will direct it,” Duchovny said. “And [co-star Gillian Anderson is] on board, and I’m on board, and that’s all I can tell you. I mean, I’m looking forward to seeing what he did.”

Mulder and Scully

I used to be mocked by my peers for thinking Scully as the hottest girl on earth because I used to be a big fan of the show X-File, I still am, although not as much anymore. One thing remains is that age and time does not have bad effect on Gillian Anderson. I’m sure her presence on the big screen in X-Files movie sequel will once again captivate and mesmerize world audiences.

I thought the first film was okay but I was definitely disappointed by the series finale episode. The show could’ve gone out in a blaze of glory, but instead the story of that last show was not powerful enough.
