rancher, a civil war vet (Christian Bale), who agreed to hold the captured outlaw (Russel Crowe) who’s awaiting a train to Yuma for trial.
This ain’t one of those easy babysittin’ job.

Now let me ask you this.. what’s your favorite Western movie?

Now here’s what I don’t get though.. why do we have foreign actors playing cowboys. Western movies like this are the symbol of America’s tough terrain. What would John Wayne think if he saw a Britisha and an Australian playing the roles that portray American rebels in the 1800s.
I know it’s all acting and stuff.. but just last year, we had the movie ‘Seraphim Falls’ where Pierce Brosnan and Liam Neeson (both Irish) play civil war characters.

Maybe these actors want to prove that if they can do the accent and play the part, then they’d prove that they must be that damn good.
But maybe Hollywood are losing american born actors who can really step up to the plate and be just as good.

Or maybe American actors don’t wanna play cowboys and western movies anymore,.. but that’s just not possible.
