SUNSHINE Review

cillian murphy
The sun is dying and mankind would be extinct unless a team of astronauts go to the distance and re-ignite the sun.
The first ship failed to deliver the payload so another ship is sent, but they encounter problems along the way from technical damages, human error,and.. insanity.

Do you remember the awesome science fiction movie ‘Event Horizon’ a decade ago? Well ‘Sunshine’ is even much more awesome than that.

This is a first rate science fiction movie. It’s a very excellent psychological thriller and emotional drama as well. The visual effect serves it right. I don’t wanna spoil too much of the details but as time passes and each crew members start to lose their hope, they eventually have to remind themselves the people that are counting on their efforts and sacrifice.

Science fiction movie has never been this captivating. Knowing how warm our earth is becoming, it is nearly impossible to expect the sun to be dying any time in the future. But stars in other solar systems and other galaxies have been known to die and cease to exist and how scary to imagine something like that to happen to us.

If you love a well made science fiction movie,
If you’re one of the great minds who tend to ask the question ‘what if’.
If you like to go through psychological obstacles once in a while.
Then ‘Sunshine’ is definitely the movie for you to enjoy.
