New Pictures from Batman film THE DARK KNIGHT

Rama’s SCREEN has provided you many times with the latest info and pictures and trailer and video clips from the film set of Batman’s next movie. Now here we have more brand spankin’ pictures and still images from next year’s summer blockbuster of director Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise new installment: THE DARK KNIGHT.
We got here photos of Heath Ledger as The Joker with a menacing look on his face and one picture showing him… kicking Batman in the gut. For a story of a superhero that was created in America, Batman movies now have been made by foreign people. Director Christoher Nolan, Michael Caine, Christian Bale, Heath Ledger are all foreigners but they have been the reason why this new Batman franchise will be better than the ones before Batman Begins, and I’m talking about the George Clooney Batman and Val Kilmer Batman.
o and another quick thing, Sen. Patrick Leahy (Dem) of Vermont is going to appear in THE DARK KNIGHT. He has not disclosed any detail of his role in the upcoming Batman movie, but he will have a scene with its two main stars Batman (Christian Bale) and The Joker (Heath Ledger). Senator Leahy himself has been a long time fan of Batman comics and made a cameo in 1997’s Batman and Robin movie. The movie THE DARK KNIGHT will arrive July 18th, 2008. Mark your calendar!

With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as “The Joker”.

Yeah! FINALLY, photos and a trailer. What’s with that website? How come when you go to the website, it shows a pic of “Two Face” before he became “Two Face”. Any guesses?
I don’t like The Dark knight’s official website either.. but that’s how it looks for now.. eventually it’ll be more rich in visual and information as the time nears for the movie to arrive.
