Building Explosion from THE DARK KNIGHT
Today, THE DARK KNIGHT film crews and demolition experts blew up an old factory building as part of a scene for next year’s Batman film. The building was first made to look like Gotham General Hospital complete with red cross and pharmacy signs. This next installment in the Batman franchise is going all out with this one. I can’t wait for July 18th, 2008.

Did they take care of the construction’s job for them? In either case, the explosion seemed a bit time delayed, it feels like they’re not really going to use the whole clip and the cameras were in closer. The other thing is that I really really really cannot stand it when they do this sort of thing for a movie, because of pollution. But since it’s an old building and the demolition was for the construction company I guess I won’t boycott watching this movie.
that’s a good question.
Maybe the city will do the clean up and construction job. But who knows.
As far as pollution goes, it’s inevitable and I’m sure in some ways Al Gore doesn’t like it either.
