ILLEGAL TENDER Review

At first I didn’t want to waste my time watching this movie, but then I thought maybe I could watch something just for the fun of it, so I could have something to remember and laugh. But ILLEGAL TENDER turned out to be quite… an entertaining movie.

Gangster that killed his father in the past is now out to get him and his mother and his little brother. They are forced by situation to flee and save their lives but then they decide to run no more, face the enemy and end it once for all.

It’s the same filmmaker who brought us John Leguizamo movie ‘Empire’.
The quality of ‘Illegal Tender’ is not far different from ‘Empire’.
Both movies are basically gangster flicks that are not heavyweight champions as opposed to Martin Scorsese’s masterpieces.

How can I simply put this and just bring it to conclusion?
If you want something to watch that won’t require you to analyze or think about so much, then you’ll enjoy ‘Illegal Tender’.

This movie does teach you of a lesson that I need to keep reminding myself of:
When you see a small business that might have big potentials someday, don’t let opportunities for investment pass you by.
