Filmmaker Roland Emmerich (The Day After Tomorrow, Independence Day, Godzilla) is practically an expert at bringing destruction to earth and now he’s returned with yet another epic CGI extravaganza movie about humans struggling to survive.

A young Mammoth hunter has to go on a journey for the sake of the future of his tribe. Just as much as I’m interested in seeing a real living mammoth, if I were to go on a time machine to anywhere I want, I probably wouldn’t want to visit the actual 10,000 B.C. But this movie looks like it’s going to be a pretty wild ride. Too bad we have to wait til March 7th, 2008 to check out the beastly saber tooth tiger, which can be seen briefly in this movie’s teaser trailer.
