Finally! J.J. Abrams got his young Captain Kirk for the new STAR TREK movie and the lucky dude to have the honor of playing the iconic character immortalized by the now horizontally challenged William Shatner is… Chris Pine! Who? Exactly! He’s the dude from the movie ‘Just My Luck‘, ya know.. that one Lindsay Lohan movie, you’ve all watched it, right? Me neither.

Chris Pine has accepted the long awaited offer and so it’s confirmed, sealed and now off he goes onto the enterprise with Zachary Quinto as the young Spock, Anton Yelchin as the young Chekov, Zoe Saldana as the young Uhura, Simon Pegg as the young Scotty, John Choa as the young Sulu, and Eric Bana as the villain Nero. Are we missing anybody? O and Leonard Nimoy will make an appearance as the present Spock.
We don’t know what tricks J.J. Abrams got up his sleeves as far as storyline is concerned.
So I guess this Chris Pine dude kinda got the same looks as the young Shatner, I mean the young Kirk, but Pine doesn’t look like he could lead anybody to go to any frontier.
