George Clooney’s not into JAZZ
According to EW, Joe Carnahan, the director of Smokin’ Aces is going to film his next project WHITE JAZZ, he was going to have Chris Pine as one of the cast but Chris decided to join J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek movie instead.
George Clooney who was supposed to be in Joe’s film recently has decided to pull himself out too because of scheduling conflict. He’s got so many on his plate already that he had to drop WHITE JAZZ.

Director Joe Carnahan
I thought Smokin’ Aces was a terrible excuse for action movie, it wasn’t cleverly done. That movie made Joe Carnahan seemed like he was trying too hard to be like director Guy Ritchie (Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch ). Sure George is a busy, hard-working actor but if he gave up your project to do others that he thinks are more worthy of doing, then that should give you a hint about how crappy you are as a filmmaker.
