The official website of the upcoming comedy movie BE KIND REWIND has released a bunch of sweded trailers of Jack Black and Mos Def re-enacting several popular films like Robocop, Boyz N’ the Hood, Driving Miss Daisy, and Ghostbusters. The movie itself which will open January 25th, 2008 is about a video store owner who’s in trouble because all the videos have been erased by Jack Black’s magnetized head, so to save the business, they make their own version of every movie there is. The customers surprisingly like the results and the next thing they know… popularity and FBI troubles come knockin’ on their door.

It’s obvious to see that in the age of Youtube generation these days, people tend to be more interested in instant entertainment, something that doesn’t require hours of viewing, short clips that easily amuse can become something viral, watched by millions, can even launch the career of those who made the clip.
