Rama’s SCREEN

Another teaser poster has been released by Hellboy II official website. Yesterday we had Liz Sherman and now, this one is Abe Sapien played by actor Doug Jones who also played the faun in Pan’s Labyrinth. This guy is comfortable working under prosthetics. It is reported that his make up for the character Abe Sapien would take six hours.

Not to mention he’d have to act and mime every day on the set (because the voice is dubbed by David Hyde Pierce). Doesn’t it get tiring and hot and sticky after a while?
ABE SAPIEN is a friend of Hellboy and Liz Sherman, in the movie Abe has the power to touch and object and see the past or the future that the item may hold.

HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY, directed by Guillermo Del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth), will open July 11, 2008 and it stars Ron Pearlman again as the red demon defender against the forces of darkness. In this sequel a bunch of rebellious creatures from the mythical world are waging a war against humanity and Hellboy and his gang must fight to save the world in the battle that’s diabolically massive.
