Simon Pegg is the next big comedy movie star, he’s the new Jim Carrey, only a bit more bumbling and prone to situations that might bring pain physically.
Simon is no stranger to slapstick humor and in his upcoming comedy HOW TO LOSE FRIENDS AND ALIENATE PEOPLE, he’s going to put his body to the test of hurt and agony again to earn our laugh. The movie arrives October 2008.

The story is about Sydney Young (Pegg) an employee working for a popular magazine but he can’t seem to be popular among people mainly because as you can see from watching this trailer, he gives reason for people not to like him but when he gets a job in a conservative magazine company, he starts to get the success and popularity he longs for including becoming a confidante to character Sophie Maes played by The Hottie from Transformers movie, Megan Fox.

This movie also stars Kirsten Dunst as Simon’s character’s love interest, but Kirsten’s presence in any movie for that matter is not that big a deal… until she makes a public apology statement for having played Mary Jane in all Spider-man movies.
