Here’s a cool new picture from the movie INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, available in the latest issue of Empire Magazine. Why is Indy holding a bazooka? As you can see here, his family’s in the adventure as well, his girlfriend Marion played by Karen Allen and their son/sidekick Mutt Williams played by Shia.
Ah, I know why he’s holding a bazzoka! He’s going to try to blast other summer movies into the next century.
What do you think about this latest image.

Producer Frank Marshall shares the development of the movie as far as production goes…

“This picture is locked,” he said. “Steven’s pretty much done editing. And we’re going into the phase with John Williams where he starts scoring the movie. He’s really writing now and then we’ll start scoring in February.”

Great! Then it’s almost ready to go.
When asked which of previous Indiana Jones movies does this one resemble the most, he said..

“I would say it’s closest to the third one (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). It’s all adults. I mean, you have the sidekick in Shia (LaBeouf), but you don’t have a Short Round and I think the banter between the characters is as fun as it was in the third movie.”
