Oh, man! I’m disappointed. I really thought this movie was going to be laugh out loud but apparently I’ve laughed so hard watching the trailer so much so that when the scenes showed up in the movie, they weren’t as funny anymore. STRANGE WILDERNESS would’ve been… a decent comedy film it it hadn’t been so stupid and by that I mean literally stupid. The characters are such idiots that the punch lines sound more like inside jokes, in other words, they’d be funny if you spent hours of road trip and were really actually friends with them. Otherwise, you’d find yourself say, “huh? What the F did they just say?”

A group of potheads and idiots run a wildlife themed TV show, but when the ratings drop, they’re forced to find Big Foot in South America so that their show won’t have to get canceled by the network.

Strange Wilderness

The stupidity level of this movie is in the same level as the movie Grandma’s Boy. Not even the hotness of actress Ashley Scott could remedy the hurt audiences feel when realizing that they’ve paid quite the amount of money to watch this torture posing as a comedy film.

The bad news is that I have a feeling this won’t be the last time we’re going to experience this. I don’t mean that there will be sequels or anything but the guys in this movie are best friends and Adam Sandler’s production company would finance any stupid movies that Allen Covert and the gang would come up with from now on. That’s the power of who you know in Hollywood, quality sometimes takes second place.

There are probably a couple of lines in this movie that are actually funny.
The part where they’re mocking the shark with the ugly ass teeth is still funny no matter how many times they put that clip on repeat.
Other than that,… if you really want to laugh hard while watching STRANGE WILDERNESS, inhale some special grass beforehand.. but you don’t hear it from me.
