The first poster this movie released was a play on Indiana Jones. This new poster, via cinematical, is more action-packed. Complete with choppers and explosions on the background. Looks like director Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me) is running away from a battle scene in the middle of a dessert.

The documentary is about Morgan’s journey to the middle east to hunt down the number one most wanted criminal in the world, Osama Bin Laden.
Finally, at least someone had the initiative to do something!
Will he successfully capture Osama?

Here’s a new clip from the upcoming pothead movie HAROLD & KUMAR: ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY. In this clip, we see Kumar gettin’ random security check at the airport.
I hate those so called “special screening”, I travel a lot and I get that treatment sometimes, it’s annoying. What’s so ‘Random’ about it!
The movie opens April 25th, 2008. With some luck, I’m going to get to go to the world premiere. If you wanna know how you can go too, just give me a holla, and I’ll let you know how.

Speaking of Love, Jaime Pressley has been cast in the upcoming movie I LOVE YOU, MAN! Starring Paul Rudd (Over Her Dead Body) and Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall).
It’s about a guy about to be married to his fiancee. Jamie Pressley will play the fiancee’s best friend.
The guy realizes that he doesn’t have any friends, so starts to go on man-dates to find a best man.

Here’s one interesting casting info that happened today. A while ago, I posted HERE some spy photos from the set of the upcoming movie CADILLAC RECORDS.

According to Variety, Beyonce is playing Etta James, Jeffrey Wright will play Muddy Waters, Gabrielle Union will play his girlfriend, Geneva Wade and Adrien Brody will play Leonard Chess, the founder of Chess Records. This movie’s basically about his turbulent life and career with all the legendary music stars that he got to work with, including one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Mr. Chuck Berry.. will be played by Mos Def.

I used to put this movie info under film projects I didn’t care too much about. But now that I got to know more and I like movies about musicians, I sure hope they get it right.
Mos Def is a pretty good actor, but I do have a problem understanding the words that come out of his mouth most of the time.

Let’s face it! Whether you like it or not, the fact is today’s young people are American Pie generation. Can you blame them?! All that raging hormone.
So if you can’t sell them the idea of abstinence, the next best thing is to tell them about safe sex.
Over the years, there have been many ads and marketing campaign promoting this very important lesson.
But who can better teach kids today about safe sex than our very own favorite pirate, Mr. Johnny Depp.

That’s right! According to Daily Star, and I don’t know how true this info is but it’s hella interesting, Johnny Depp has been offered $10 million dollars to become the new “face” of Trojan.

Apparently Johnny Depp has been a long time advocate for safe sex.

Today’s movie info is about boring casting news and stuff so I figured, why not see what some of today’s theaters have for displays of upcoming movies. Usually when you go inside a movie theater, before you head to the concession stand, you’re first treated with all kinds of posters and cool marketing displays, some are creative while others are nothing spectacular.
I saw this SPEED RACER theatrical display at Corona Crossings theater the other day and I thought it was pretty cool so I took a picture of it with my phone and here it is…. click on it to enlarge.

The first poster was seen HERE some time ago. The movie’s released June 6th, 2008 and it stars Adam Sandler and all his friends.
The reason I’m definitely going to see this movie is that the guys who wrote the story are Adam, Judd Apatow (Knocked Up) and Robert Smigel, who’s responsible for the hilarious SNL’s TV Funhouse.

Politics is a dirty game. I salute those who know how to play it and use it to their advantage. They probably lose their morals and conscience along the process, however.

THE DARK KNIGHT has come up with new viral sites.
Concerned citizens for a Better Gotham has a video smearing the campaign of one of the candidates for District Attorney office, Harvey Dent.
The video clip contains eight Gotham’s finest cops who claimed that Harvey Dent is a corrupt official who’s put innocent people in jail.

ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO Opens October 31st, 2008. It’s about two friends who partner up to start a porno video business in order to eliminate their debts and they fall for each other in the process.

Via newaskew, Kevin Smith revealed that he’s going to release the movie’s red-band trailer anytime soon.

Of all the rumors that have been going around lately, this one is the most ridiculous. It’s bad enough we heard a rumor about Hayden Christensen playing Superman in the JLA Movie, now according to dailymail, Madonna wants to remake one of the greatest classic films of all time, CASABLANCA.

Why on earth would you wanna ruin something that might as well be considered national treasure?! Maybe she thinks this kind of project would be the one to finally establish her as an actress.
Okay, keep dreaming, Madonna.

The madness doesn’t end there.. get this, Madonna wants to set the time and place in Iraq War zone instead of the early days of WWII which is the story in Casablanca.

The source said: “Madonna is talking about taking the Ingrid Bergman role for herself, even though Bergman was in her 20s when she played Ilsa and Madonna is nearly 50″.

I’ve seen the movie Casablanca and I don’t think anyone should mess around with it.
Somebody, anybody, keep Madonna away from ever remaking that movie before she goes all kabbalah on it!

Actor Shawn Ashmore who plays Iceman in the last two X-MEN movies had a chat with shocktilyoudrop.
He was asked the one question anybody would ask an actor who’s been involved in the mutant project.
Will there be X-MEN 4?
This is what he said about it…

“Honestly, I don’t know. I would love to do another film, but I think they’re doing these spin-offs and origin stories, so I can’t see in the near future there being an X-Men 4, but I have no idea to tell you the truth, it’s really hard to say. I’m holding my breath, waiting for it to happen, but I’m not sure if it will or not.”

Now that the movie X-MEN ORIGIN: WOLVERINE is in production and there’s talks about making a movie about Magneto alone, it just seems impossible to get the group back together for another X-MEN Movie.

Bill Pullman has got to be the lamest President of the United States. I’m not talking about in the real world, because ‘Dubya’ still holds that record. I’m talking about Bill Pullman’s role in the movie Independence Day where he failed to be convincing the Commander in Chief in times of trouble.

But Bill Pullman as an FBI agent might just work.. I emphasize MIGHT because there’s always a 50-50 chance of failure when dealing with any movie project that has Bill Pullman in it.

According to monster and critics, the great Kevin Spacey wants to play Lex Luthor again in the next Superman movie, MAN OF STEEL.
He played the same character in the disappointing Superman Returns back in 2006.
This is what he said about all this…

“I believe they are in talks at the moment. I have actually already signed up to do it. So if they decide to go ahead with it and they still want me, then I will definitely be in it.”

“I absolutely loved it. One of the reasons I signed up to do it was because I wanted to work with Bryan Singer again, who I worked with on ‘The Usual Suspects‘ in 1995, because I think he is an absolute genius.”

Well, I don’t know about all that Bryan Singer is a genius thing.
Superman Returns made me upset.

Kevin Spacey presents a more evil Lex Luthor than the comical version that the great Gene Hackman presented.

But the only I’m going to be sold is that if this sequel will have more action. That’s all.

No Savior parallel or any of that deep profound stuff anymore.

Pure action. that’s what I want.

Lex Luthor is cool and all but he’s a villain who doesn’t have super power.
It’d be cool if in the next movie, Superman could get to fight someone his own size and strength.

You’ve heard it before HERE that Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) has always wanted to do a MUPPETS Movie. He pitched the idea in and Disney liked it. So the question ever since has been: what is it that Jason Segel has in mind for the storyline?

This guy is known for his association with Judd Apatow, meaning the movies have been raunchy comedy with F-bombs and pot jokes, which are funny I admit, but I’d hate to see Kermit and his friends start smoking joints and laughing about who got laid.

But now, CHUD seems to hear bits and pieces about what Segel’s going to do with the some of the most beloved characters of all time.
According to the website, THE MUPPETS will go back to basic.
None of those bullcrap “The Muppets in space” or “go underwater” anymore.

Apparently their Muppet film is going to be incredibly old fashioned, with the familiar Muppet characters putting on a show to save an old theater (the theater from The Muppet Show?). The danger? An evil character wants to tear the place down to get at the oil underneath

That’s a relief. If this is true, then I’m glad THE MUPPETS will be in good hands. Anybody who came up with this idea for the plot deserves a chance.

We saw Nicolas Cage’s eyes on a poster the other day, now another set of eyes. I would tell you they belong to someone famous but the truth is they’re not.
It’s a part of the movie poster for THE FALL, thanks to impawards, which you can see the complete thing after the jump.

The movie’s been in circulation, from festival to festival, for a long time and you can watch the trailer HERE.
It will finally get a limited release on May 9th, 2009. It’s about a little girl who meets a bedridden man who starts telling her a fantastical story which reflects his state of mind. Fantasy and reality will intertwine.

It’s usual thing for movies to move production from one place to another, but lately the places chosen have been a little weird.
I mentioned to you HERE that Sly Stallone wants to do the next RAMBO movie in Bulgaria.
And now, according to comingsoon.net, Dennis Quaid said that G.I. JOE will continue filming in Czech Republic.

They will continue over there for the next three months to finish shooting. Quaid, by the way, said that they’ve finished filming his parts in the movie as General Hawk.
So… if he’s not going to Czech with the rest of the cast, then I guess we can assume Gen. Hawk would not be a pivotal role in the movie.
If I were Dennis, I’d be relief too. Because what is there to do in Czech anyways in between shooting?
It’d be annoying to travel to a place that would make the town Bruges feels like heaven.
