The Aussie beauty Teresa Palmer, a while ago, was rumored to play Wonder Woman in JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA the movie, and then she was said to play Talia Al Gul in JUSTICE LEAGUE OF MORTAL.
Turns out both movie titles suck and the whole project sunk into the abyss of no return.

According to Courier Mail, Teresa has got herself a role in Michael Bay’s robot movie sequel TRANSFORMERS 2
What role is she playing in this project is yet to be revealed, but the world would see this as Megan Fox’s competition. Speaking of which, does anybody know if Megan Fox going to return for the sequel?
They recently got Jonah Hill to join as Shia Labeouf’s new comic relief sidekick.

Most casting info are usually boring.
Especially on days like today where the world is still wondering what the hell happened to Paula Abdul on American Idol the other night… was she on crack or can she really see the future? Boy what is up with that woman?!

Anyways, the website’s got the international teaser poster for BABYLON A.D., opens August 29th, 2008. Vin will play a veteran turned mercenary who’s assigned to escort a woman from Russia to China, she is host to an organism that a cult wants to harvest in order to produce a genetically modified Messiah

My take is, I think it looks like Riddick meets Blade Runner and it’s a poor excuse for a sci-fi thriller.
Vin Diesel is currently filming the fourth installment of The Fast and The Furious franchise.

I have to head out to Los Angeles this evening to take care of some business but don’t worry, be happy,… cause I’ll be back later on tonight with more Movie info and lots of coolness. It’ll be like I never left at all.

In the mean time, Hugh Jackman spoke with MTV about the possibility of more Wolverine sequels. As some of you may know by now, he’s currently filming the X-Men spin off movie that deals only with his character Wolverine, hence the title X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE

This is what the Jackman said..

“We are dealing with a character who is probably one of the darker comic book characters ever created,” Jackman said. “The movie has a lot of fun elements, but there are layers of pain and darkness to this character.”

“There are two conditions for me doing any more: One is will anybody want to see it, and the second is: Will I still have the passion for it?” he explained. “I really wanted to do this spin-off movie, because I felt we hadn’t truly found who this character was. Right now, I feel like I could do another ten or eleven.”

“Totally, I would put it more in the ‘Batman Begins‘ sort of realm,” he added. “That’s sort of where we’re headed.”

His comment about wanting his movie to be like Batman Begins isn’t the first one I’ve ever heard.
A while back, super producer of the upcoming movie adaptation G.I. JOE, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura said that he compared the Project to Batman Begins.

The brothers Jonathan Nolan and Christopher Nolan should be proud of themselves. They’ve re-imagined the Batman franchise into something so awesome that’s made other movies wish they had thought of it first.

But can you really see Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine ten or eleven more times?
When do you think you’ll get sick of Wolverine?

We just saw some new THE DARK KNIGHT International Posters a couple of days ago, it’s only fitting if today, I include some more international posters but this time, they feature one of the most anticipated family fantasy adventure movies of this summer. Though the images may not be as jaw-dropping as TDK’s, but they’re still worth checking out.

Amy Smart (Road Trip) is a daring young actress who’s not ashamed to expose her body. She was banged in public in the first Crank movie.
JFX Online who always tries to get spy photos from film sets snapped some images of Amy Smart with only tapes covering her nipples to prevent her from being completely nude.
They were filming a scene for CRANK 2. In one of the photos, you can see Jason Statham covering Amy Smart.

Check out the lucky dude who gets to put the tape onto her boobs… I’m sure he’s required to remain professional cause if he gets… excited, he’ll probably lose his job.

Other boring info can wait.. This is the headline for the moment. The new trailer for THE INCREDIBLE HULK has hit the web and it’s got Edward Norton transforming into the green giant hero. And the Hulk kicks Emile Blonsky like he’s a soccer ball.

According to Variety, United Artist has been looking for another spy franchise for their ultimate star, Tom Cruise, to do.

And the wait may finally come to an end, TV’s 24 co-creator-exec producer Joel Surnow will develop the film, with Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, Goldeneye) directing.

No one knows what the title for the project is but it ain’t gonna be MI: 4, that’s for sure!
They’re hoping this original concept will be commercially successful.

On another and more exciting info, according to seeing-stars.com, today, April 30th, 2008 is the Red Carpet premiere of IRON MAN. If everything goes as planned, the event will be held at at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre 6925 Hollywood Blvd, in Hollywood and it will start at about 6:30 PM.

So, if you’re in town and happen to not have anything better to do, leave your Tom Cruise DVD collection behind, go to Hollywood this evening and with thousands of other fans, greet Robert Downey Jr. Jon Favreau, Gwyneth Paltrow and Terrence Howard as they walk the red carpet from their cars into the theaters.

According to Entertainment Weekly, which provides entertainment info on a weekly basis, (Duh!) Jonah Hill is in early negotiations to star in TRANSFORMERS 2.

They want him to be the comic relief side-kick to Shia Labeouf’s character Sam Witwicky.
The word is that he might play Sam’s college roommate.
The movie is scheduled for release June 26th, 2009.

Look, the movie Transformers was awesome in my book but my friend had a good point, Shia Labeouf’s all panicky character got too annoying after the first hour of the movie.
Some of you may have seen Jonah Hill in many recent movies and the type of roles he played (Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall)
I know that in sequels, you need to cast some new actors and put in some new characters.
Would adding Jonah Hill as a comic relief sidekick be helpful?

A couple of days ago I mentioned that there was a gathering of Batman fans in major cities across the nation, I was going to go to the one in LA but I had some other matters to attend to.
They were shown the new trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT, which was leaked online in bootleg version.

Slashfilm reported that there were some winners from that day’s event who got to take home 35mm print of the new movie trailer, but apparently the print was defaced by the Joker.
Pretty cool prank, actually. Just check out the clip below and notice Batman holding a light saber and The Joker keeps vandalizing all their faces and the title which was changed into The Dork Knight. HA HA HA!

The New Trailer for INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL has been leaked online. Thanks to traileraddict and some pirate dude, we can now see here the bootleg version. It’ll do for now until the clean, sharp official version hits the web.
Let’s see how long this will be available.
Better yet, let’s see how long until I get an e-mail from Paramount asking me to take it down. Probably soon enough

Yahoo has got its hands on some new photos from the upcoming remake, THE INCREDIBLE HULK.
I said ’some’ because some of the photos have been released previously either in EW magazine, or some shots are basically stills from the trailer. But some are new, like Emile Blonsky (Tim Roth) looking at himself in a mirror while his back is slowly transforming into what would become Abomination’s spine.

Well, it’s midnight and I should really get some sleep but I’m not don until I cover this one, mainly because I do want to know if the next Superman movie would be much better than the disappointing Superman Returns.

Comingsoon.net recently spoke with Brandon Routh who was promoting his new movie LIE TO ME, released at the recent Newport Beach Film Festival. I was going to see it this past weekend but something else came up instead.
The movie marked his post-Superman role and it didn’t require him to wear some tights.

Long story short, the interview went on to deal with the next Superman movie, MAN OF STEEL, which according to reports will have Brandon Routh and director Bryan Singer return to their respective roles.

This is what Brandon said…

‘’I expect that we’ll be working early next year. I know that Bryan [Singer] has pretty much finished out “Valkyrie” and is back in the states and is zeroing in on the story that he wants to tell. Once that arrives it’s going to move pretty quickly.”

The one thing most people didn’t like about Superman Returns is that it was too lovy dubby and it didn’t have enough action. Lex Luthor is a cool villain and all but he’s not the type that would give Superman much threat,.. because Lex is just an ordinary evil human….unless when he’s holding a kryptonite.
What we need is an enemy who is in the same size and power as Superman, a real, menacing threat. And we need Superman to be more tough, the whole Mr. Nice guy thing seems lame compared to Batman’s badass charms.

‘’Well, I think that something that audiences are looking for – and I certainly am, too – is for Superman to actually be able to lay a punch on someone or something. I was filming and I thought, “I haven’t really hit anything. I feel like I’m going to need to let some of this anger out.” So I’m happy that I think that’s going to be a central part of the sequel, getting a good villain that we can actually have physical altercations”

Brandon also said that he’s hoping there’ll be more humor and comedy especially between his character Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen.
I thought Brandon did pretty well as the gullible, nerdy Clark. His mannerism is much like the late Christopher Reeves’ depiction of Clark Kent. But Christopher Reeves’ performance was top notch, he had great comedic timing. Brandon’s still got a lot of work to do sharpen his comical skills.
But unfortunately, my wish for the next one to be less lovy dubby won’t be happening anytime soon because Brandon Routh wants to keep that aspect alive…

“Also, Superman and Lois getting together, that’s always my end goal. I want that to happen. The romantic in me wants that to happen eventually whether they’re finally together in this movie or in whatever future films there might be. I kind of want to see that happen.’’

Comingsoon.net also asked Brandon about his new project DEAD OF NIGHT based on the Italian comic book series Dylan Dog, which has lots of zombies, monsters and creatures… my kinda thing.
When asked about what he thinks of Superman and Batman possibly be in one movie, this is what he said…

‘’I’ve been asked that question many times and at first, I think I’ve been quoted as saying that Superman and Batman should never fight each other which makes sense to me. They should be fighting together on the same team, but Christian is certainly a great actor and a very nice guy. I’m excited for the new “Batman.” So I’ll open up my view because I know that people want to see it and maybe there’s a story that could be told that way that makes sense to me. So I won’t put it out anymore. I won’t say no anymore.’’

Will you look at these… We just saw the first image earlier today and now thanks to thebadandugly.com, they got more images from the set of I LOVE YOU PHILIP MORRIS starring Jim Carrey looking all gay (by gay I mean happy… and homosexual) in a true story about a guy who tries to escape from prison so he can reunite himself with his cellmate lover.

There was a rumor a while back that Clint Eastwood’s next project might be another sequel to the 70s hit movie series DIRTY HARRY. But that’s not the case at all.
Just for the record, if Hollywood’s ever going to remake Dirty Harry franchise, I hope they cast Josh Brolin as the new Harry Callahan. That dude is badass!

According to Clint at moviehole.net, Clint Eastwood’s movie is currently called GRAN TORINO (Title subject to change) and yes, it will feature a 1972 Gran Torino.
All of you car lovers should know by now what it is that I’m talking about.
I’m not a car expert, but I do like what I’m seeing in this picture.

The car is the prized possession of the film’s central character whose name is Walt. He’s supposed to be this grumpy Korean Veteran, tough-minded, borderline-hateful, unhappy man who can’t get along with either his kids or his neighbors. Sounds like Clint Eastwood’s characters in almost all his movies.
Whether or not he’s going to play the role, we don’t know yet this time.

Anyways, the story goes that Walt ends up befriending an Asian kid named Tao who once tried to steal Walt’s Gran Torino as a way to be allowed into an Asian gang. Walt teaches Tao how to grow up as a responsible young man. The gang doesn’t like the way Tao is becoming friends with Walt so they teach him a lesson by raping Tao’s sister. Tao wants to get revenge, but Walt decides to carry that burden himself alone

Currently the casting agent for this project is looking for South east Asian actors to play the Hmong Gang.
I’m Hmong, but I am from South east Asia. Maybe I could play one of the dudes that don’t necessarily have to have lines.
Cross your fingers and wish me luck.
If I don’t get the part, at least I’ve given it a shot.

According to themovieblog, Corey Haim has been cast in CRANK 2. What role he’s going to play and why Jason Statham and the gang let him be part of the group have yet to be revealed.
I’m still waiting to hear from Lionsgate about whether or not this info’s confirmed.
Some of you may wonder, who the hell is Corey Haim? Let’s just say that sadly, there was a point in time (The Lost Boys, Lucas) when looking like this was considered cool.

This is the trailer for SWING VOTE starring Kevin Costner in his what could be his actual first worth-to-watch movie since, uh.. I don’t know.. Field of Dreams, maybe?
It’s about an apathetic, beer slinging, lovable loser whose vote will be the one that elects the next president.
The fate of America lies in the hand of Kevin freakin’ Costner.. that’s just great..
The nations isn’t getting any better.

The movie opens August 1st, 2008 and it stars Kelsey Grammar, Stanley Tucci, and Dennis Hopper.
Let’s just hope this doesn’t end up ordinary like Robin William’s so-so political comedy Man of the Year.
