THE FALL Review

The Fall
When it comes to Visuals, Iron Man has a competition this year and its name is THE FALL. This is a journey into the world where imagination rules and fantasy takes hold of what we see and hear. It is an art spectacle and a visual treat. An outstanding, magnificent achievement in film-making. Director Tarsem Singh has… crafted a harrowing tale of human desperation and the cry for love that doesn’t betray. You will be stunned by how well-made and far this movie would go to show you the wonders and the pain and the healing love can bring to a person. THE FALL is a work of pure genius!

In Los Angeles in the 1920s an injured stunt man tells a tale to a little girl with a broken arm. The fantastical story about 5 heroes out on a journey for revenge to kill the evil Governor who’ve robbed them of their lives. As the story continues, the line between fantasy and reality is blurred. Little does the girl know that he’s just using her to commit suicide.

The Fall

I really enjoy the cinematography and visual effects for this movie. Bravo! They have done the unthinkable. Awesome work! It deserves standing ovation.
It’s like watching paintings or some artwork move in all the right directions. The shadows, the angles, the amount of color, the costume, the make-up, the art direction, Absolutely brilliant!
Visually stunning.

The story is really cool. Some part will make you confused because you’re trying to figure out what happen, but the bottomline is this.. it’s about a man who’s got broken hearted because his girlfriend cheated on her with a famous person. He’s determined to commit suicide but the patience and the love of an orphan child makes him realize that things don’t have to turn out as bad as he made it out to be. The hero can still live in the end.
His life is ruined because he lost his love but that doesn’t mean he needs to lose everything else as well.

Great performance by The young Romanian child actress playing the role of Alexandria. She’s very cute and likable. Her presence and her adorable smile will capture your heart. Extraordinary acting.
Good job for Lee Pace as well playing the paraplegic suicidal stunt man who befriends the little girl.
Director Tarsem Singh shot this film in 18 countries, spanning many years for him to get the right locations and the right cast which prove to be perfect.
Tarsem’s hard work paid off.. This definitely wins my respect.
THE FALL should be in the must-see list. If this doesn’t do well in the box office, I hope it becomes a cult hit.
