Another Image of SOUL MEN
Back in March, there was a photo of Bernie Mac, Isaac Hayes, and Samuel L. Jackson on a movie set and now, via Cinematical, here’s a new image from the upcoming musical movie SOUL MEN.
As you can in the picture above, Samuel Motha F*in’ Jackson always has the ability to look a bit different in all his movies. It’s gotta be the hair, he changes it a bit and bam! he’s another character.
Benie Mac looks exactly like Bernie Mac.
I probably would be caught dead wearing that shiny suit.
SOUL MEN will open October 10th, 2008 and it’s about two estranged soul-singing legends who haven’t spoken with one another in some 20 years. They agree to participate in a reunion performance at the Apollo Theater to honor their recently deceased band leader.

“SOUL MEN is about two estranged soul-singing legends who haven’t spoken with one another in some 20 years”…gee that’s really original…not!!!…that’s definitely a bio pic of the legendary soul duo who won a grammy for the song “Soul Man”…who didn’t speak to each other for about 20 years…Sam & Dave. This sounds like it’s a rip off instead of a tribute which is widely acknowledged by Dan Aykroyd that “The Blues Brothers” was.
Maybe it’s loosely based on that.
I have yet to find any confirmation that the movie SOUL MEN is actually based on Sam and Dave.
