This is Mad funny! Just as I’ve mentioned to you before that the upcoming comedy movie TROPIC THUNDER has a viral marketing site called RAIN OF MADNESS where a German director named Jan Jurgen was assigned to document the filming of the so called “The Greatest War Movie Ever”. This such a great mockumentary. Whoever came up with this idea, I ought to shake his/her hand and buy ‘em lunch…. dollar menu lunch, because I’m hella broke.
The official viral website www.rainofmadness.com has made some great updates with 4 great videos that you can watch HERE.  The videos on the blog capture the struggle that Director Damien Cockburn (Steve Coogan) had to go through in dealing with a bunch of primadonas.
This whole thing is so devilishly funny, I think they should bring this version to the big screen ala Spinal Tap.

I can tell you this much, if there’s one other Comedy movie that’s a must see this year besides The Hammer, it’s definitely TROPIC THUNDER.

I almost forgot, as some of you may know by now, Ben Stiller’s character, Tugg Speedman has had a website of his own for quite some time….
And now Jack Black’s character Jeff Portnoy and Robert Downey Jr.’s character, Kirk Lazarus also got their own page.
But none of the sites feature the fake trailers yet. The hilarious trailers will be part of the movie TROPIC THUNDER which will hit theaters everywhere August 13th, 2008
