According to TheOneRing.net and Entertainment Weekly, writing has begun for THE HOBBIT movies, the first part will open December 2011 release, and the second part opens December 2012

At least now I know how to celebrate my birthdays in those years.

The Screenwriting consists of great scribes like Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens and writer/director Guillermo del Toro
If those guys are assigned to write your autobiography, you can bet your life it’s going to be a bestseller and an instant classic Masterpiece!..but they’ll probably add in some fictional creatures too, though… just wanna give you a heads up there.

Shooting is expected to start at the earliest in the fall of 2009 in New Zealand.

Now I know where to spend my vacation next year,… that is if I have the money by then.
