o boy here we go again, the man who created WANTED is talking again about his desire to revamp SUPERMAN movie. He’s talked about this previously saying that he’s always wanted to reinvent Superman for the 21st century.
The video after the jump is an interview clip, via G4 where Mark Millar said that a director has approached him about the possibility for the new movie of Superman… ya know.. since the whole Bryan Singer directing Man Of Steel project might not even happen…
This is what Millar has in mind if he gets the deal..

“I’ve had this plan for like 10 years for a big three-picture Superman thing, like a big Lord of the Rings epic, starting over from scratch again with a seven-hour Superman story. And hopefully release them one year after another,” continued Millar. “If it works out, we’ll have to start shooting next summer.”

Pretty ambitious, don’t you think?
Who is this mysterious director who talked to Millar?
Millar  sure knows how to make a big plan… but would WB be willing to give him the money to do SUPERMAN trilogy in such epic proportion?
What about WB’s plan to make Superman movie ‘Dark‘?
Millar’s plan seems to go the other direction instead wants to make a Superman that kids can love again.
While everybody else wants their movies to be like Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, he wants his Superman colossal like LOTR.
