Eva Longoria as THE WASP?
Nothing shakes your Sunday like a rumor in your movie lovin’ world, ain’t it?! Flawed Hollywood posted photos of hottie Eva Longoria, famously known as the character Gabrielle Solis of TV’s Desperate Housewives, walking out of the Marvel Offices holding a bunch of The Avengers comic books in her hands
Los Angeles Times ran a story that assumes she might be in talks to play Janet Van Dyne, better known as THE WASP, a Marvel Superhero who’s also the girlfriend of Ant-Man…. eww…I would not wanna see them mate.
The short article compares Eva Longoria’s tabloid personality with that of the comic character and she sounds perfect for the role. You can read the complete stuff right HERE.
But nothing is confirmed yet, no official, reliable source has announced anything but if you remember, Marvel plans to release THE AVENGERS Movie by 2011.. so I wouldn’t be surprised if the folks there have been bending over backwards trying to figure out who’s going to play who. I’d be double surprised if they cast Eva Longoria as Captain America… that’d be the day when pigs would fly too. Is Tony Parker next in line?
