Rama’s SCREEN

Ha! That screenshot image above cracks me up more than it scares me. Via MTV, here is the trailer for the upcoming horror flick THE UNBORN. I had two.. I repeat, two chances to see this movie months ago but I was in the middle of attending another movie event. But you know what,.. yes it’s written and directed by one of the brains behindThe Dark Knight, David S. Goyer but the concept is just not that appealing, I have a hunch it’ll be like that other lame David Goyer produced movie The Invisible. Judging from this trailer, THE UNBORN is like The Exorcist gone lame. And of course, just as I’ve mentioned before, there’s always one creepy satanic kid in any horror flick out there. This is no different. I’m a big of Gary Oldman too but that’s not good enough reason to check the whole thing out.

SYNOPSIS:
Casey Bell (Odette Yustman) hated her mother for leaving her as a child. But when inexplicable things start to happen, Casey begins to understand why she left. Plagued by merciless dreams and a tortured ghost that haunts her waking hours, she must turn to the only spirtual advisor, Sendak (Gary Oldman), who can make it stop.
With Sendak’s help, Casey uncovers the source of a family curse dating back to Nazi Germany—a creature with the ability to inhabit anyone or anything that is getting stronger with each possession. With the curse unleashed, her only chance at survival is to shut a doorway from beyond our world that has been pried open by someone who was never born.
