ZOOLANDER Has a Sequel Face?
I don’t think ZOOLANDER was Ben Stiller’s best work but it was definitely funnier than the weird and boring THE CABLE GUY. I only saw the movie a couple of times and I remember the gas station scene, Will Ferrell’s eccentric villainous character, and the Zoolander face were some of the parts that made me laugh, But accidentally hitting your head on the bunk bed when getting up in the morning among other stupid jokes at the expense of male models, you can only take so much those until eventually instead of funny, they just got dumber and dumber.
But does ZOOLANDER deserve a sequel? Via IMDB and WENN, Ben Stiller confirmed that he’s working on ZOOLANDER 2
“I’ve been trying to get Zoolander 2 together and we’ve had a few scripts. I feel that is the sequel I really would like to do some day because I like the original and I would make sure it was something new and worthy of it first.”
If any, I think he should make a DODGEBALL sequel, now that was one of the most hilarious sports comedy of all time. Because in my humble opinion, ZOOLANDER as about as ordinary as Along Came Polly and Starsky and Hutch were.
You know what I really think he should make.. a movie based on his iconic cameo character in Anchorman movie where he played a Hispanic Reporter from Spanish News who showed up for a network anchor fight and yelled “Comostan Bitches!”
