Told ya the people behind SOUTH PARK work real fast. They make fun of just about anything under the sunlight..especially those who’ll get killed by it. God, I love that show! The movie TWILIGHT opens this weekend but last night’s episode of South Park titled “The Ungroundable” already did their own take on the whole Vampire fad. Movie blogs like Rama’s SCREEN often gets its info from sources like VARIETY, if I had a penny for everytime I said “According to Variety” I’d be richer than Bill Gate’s butler. But what usually happens in a daily conference meeting at a Variety office? Brainstorming has gone to a whole new ballgame over there. Funnyordie has the hilarious take.

My computer lovin’ friends who are hardcore Macheads and hate Windows with a passion are going to love the vibrant video above. Collegehumor has done it again, and a pretty damn good visual effects for a low budget spoof.

Via Cinematical, The upcoming movie STAR TREK is as you know it, a prequel about the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise when they were young, played by today’s rising stars. So someone on youtube got the idea to mash up the trailer with the theme song for Beverly Hills 90210. The video’s pretty cool, it gives out the impression of a typical TV intro, using clips from other movies to introduce the characters, it does however, have one flaw.. instead of Spock, it says Sylar which is Zachary Quinto’s other character from TV’s Heroes. But the repeated part ‘Boobs in Star Trek’ makes up for it.

By now you should know that one of the best reviews movies of the year, WALL-E is available on DVD and Blu-Ray today, included in the packet is this Pixar short animation titled BURN-E about the robot who welds things and his plot and his problem happen to co-exist at the same time as the plot for the adventure of our cute little robot friend, WALL-E. Check out the awesome video above and go out there and check out Pixar’s awesome masterpiece on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Gung-Ho Republican Bruce Willis seems to only wanna show up on the Late Show with David Letterman, it’s as if my action superstar hero just doesn’t wanna come to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, at least not as often… and I don’t think Letterman is that funny. Did you know that Bruce Willis did a cameo appearance in HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3?? Take a look at the video above.. and just like Letterman, this particular vibrant video may not be that funny as it is dumb.

Just like the excellent Dark Knight/Toy Story trailer mash up, the same dude has successfully has come up with a new combo using footage from THE INCREDIBLES and the dialogue and the sounds from the trailer for the new Bond movie, QUANTUM OF SOLACE. Who knows what trailer mash up he’s gonna make next time.

Somebody get these guys an award or something because they’ve done the unthinkable.
They spoil 100 movie endings in just about 4 minutes.

It’s the 6th of the month, that means time for another WATCHMEN Video Journal, this time Myspace got the behind-the-scene featurette that covers the women of WATCHMEN starring Malin Akerman as Laurie Juspeczyk/Silk Spectre II and Carla Gugino as the old skool hero, the pin up girl, her mother, Sally Jupiter/Silk Spectre…
Both Marlin and Carla were in terrible gigs this past year (The Heartbreak Kid, 27 Dresses, and Righteous Kill) so hopefully this awesome movie could be like their ‘do-over’

Plot:

set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the “Doomsday Clock” - which charts the USA’s tension with the Soviet Union - is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed-up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. WATCHMEN opens March 6th, 2008

I’d like to take the time to congratulate the New President Elect of the United States of America, Barack Husein Obama. His speech this evening was nothing short of inspiring and powerful, even Oprah and the creepy Jesse freakin’ Jackson cried while hearing him speak.
Ya know what, I think we might just see the next best president since JFK. It’ll be some tough years to come and his presidency isn’t going to be a walk in the park thanks to all the crap and the mess that Pres. Dubya Bush left behind…. But YES WE CAN, Damn it! YES WE CAN

Today’s Election day so use your right to vote and get out there and show how patriotic you are. Still confused as to who you should vote for? McCain Schmccain, Obama Schobama… so why not participate in the most important election in the universe, the fate of the galaxy lies in your hand… and vote for LANDO CALRISSIAN.. Ever wanted to meet Batman? This past Halloween if you were in Florida you probably could’ve done exactly that. Via tcpalm.com, meet Officer Reece Kilner who has always wanted to be Batman for as long as he could remember, so he became the Caped Crusader on October 30th. He bought the complete costume with the cape, the pointies and the utility belt and as he did his job as a law man. He stood by the side of a street conducting a speed enforcement initiative in front of City Hall with a Halloween traffic safety message.

He’s got his “Bat Laser” to measure speeds of westbound motorists on Port St. Lucie Boulevard. When he spots an aggressive driver he unfastens his walkie-talkie from his utility belt and calls in the report to a squad car nearby which then would chase down the speeder and issue a friendly warning.
“We’re not here to write tickets we’re just here to use an opportunity to pull people over and say, ‘look Friday’s Halloween take an opportunity to drive slow and watch out for all the trick or treaters,’” says Kilner.
Way to go, Batman!
I wonder what he’s gonna wear for next year’s Halloween… any suggestion?

This past Halloween, Funnyordie has this hilarious video above showing Mr. Nightmare himself, Freddy Kruger, as required by law (kinda like what registered offenders are required to do once they’re thrown back into the society), going door to door telling any ordinary Joe the plumber that he just moved into the neighborhood. Poor Kruger can’t seem to catch a break anywhere these days.

Check out this child prodigy who’s only 11 years old but he can play the theme music to PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN like a professional. I’ve played guitar since I was 12 years old and I’m still not nearly as capable as this boy wonder.

This happened last week but I figured I’d share it here too before this weekend ends, Joaquin Phoenix made a shocking announcement that he’s done with acting… once and for all, just watch the video above and you better believe it he’s dead serious because it looks like he’s about to give that press dude a punch square in the face for laughing and thinking he was joking around when he’s actually not. Joaquin Phoenix is said to wanna focus solely on music now.. if so, then TWO LOVERS (co-starring Gwyneth Paltrow) is his last movie gig ever.
Who out there really cares if Joaquin Phoenix quit acting?? Sure he can sound like Johnny Cash but is that good enough reason to wanna buy his CD’s for crying out loud?!

UPDATE: It’s official, Via AP, Joaquin is out of the acting world, he’s going to be focusing on his newfound music career which still baffles me, because usually Hollywood stars want to tackle everything (Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez), not give up one for another. But this is what he said… “I think it’s just moving on. It’s rediscovering something else,” “It’s like greener pastures, you know what I mean?” “And so, I’m just going to try and like, I’ll just be doing the other thing. … Hopefully, I will emotionally impact you with that, as well.”
O, Joaquin, I can only hope you know what you’re doing.
