    Hey Rama,
I have NO IDEA what “Rama’s LIST” will turn out to be, and maybe my idea is exactly it, but I REALLY want a list of movies that you think are necessary to see before one dies. For instance, “Rama’s MUST SEE LIST.” Yeah? I’m always looking for recommendations from serious connoiseurs (sp)…other than Saw. Think about it. :)

I haven’t really told anyone and I havent’gotten around to do this part just yet.

    But you have it right!
That was what Rama’s SCREEN’s going to be about.
    It’s going to happen
and I sure am thinking about it :)

Thank you for the reminder and the heads up :)
    stay tuned,

Okay…I just saw I Am Legend last night and I want your perspective on it. I was sorely disappointed. It seemed like a sad excuse to “invent” a new mutant creature…and Will Smith was the only person willing to take the part. The story line was lacking. The plot was not well developed. I want a pro’s response. Mine is as follows: “BLAH.”

Apparently I’m high maintenance…but I have a favor. Next time you want a Rama’s SCREEN project, would it be possible to make another list of classic movie favorites? Like…if you truly want to understand film, these are movies you MUST SEE. Yeah?

Well,… for one… Rama’s SCREEN is a movie commentary site,
Any latest stuffs on movies will be posted here along with my comments about them and you can add your comments as well.. for free of course.

So ‘classic movies’ isn’t what I had in mind for ‘the latest’.

But you are right.. in that anybody who wants to understand film should study films from the past.

I for one am a fan of Hitchcock movies and all the classics from Casablanca, Gone with The wind, the old old ones… and the film noirs.

I guess in a way I could have a list of classic movies… if that’s the case, then it would have to be a weekly post instead of a page of its own.

Better yet, let me know what are your favorite classic films. I wanna hear your opinions :)
And then I’ll let you know mine.
